They do call for milk and bread instead of crackers or breadcrumbs. You would put the bread in a bowl and pour the milk over it and let it sit to absorb the milk.

I would definitely make this my "everytime" meatloaf recipe. The only changes I would make is no balsamic vinegar as I think you have to like the taste. It does give the meatloaf a little bit of a twang. Also, for my own families taste I would probably have to add more dijon. Oh and I did put 1 more egg, it didn't seem like only one was enough.
