Pop out the existing SIM card -- if there is one -- then place the Samsung SIM card into the SIM tray, face down. If you use an iPhone 4, only a small "microSIM" works in the device, so if your Samsung phone uses a standard-sized SIM, it won't work.

Planning on preordering the Note 8 however i am wondering is there any reason to get the single sim option instead of the Dual sim model? I believe the Dual sim model can still take a micro SD card instead of the second sim card?
